Two Senior Services staff members in Winston-Salem, Jean Small and Sandy Bellefeuil, received two of the three North Carolina Association on Aging awards in Raleigh on April 18.
Jean Small, who is vice president of Senior Services at the Tal Williams Adult Day Center in Winston-Salem, received the Supervisor of the Year–Management Excellence Award, in recognition of her superior supervisory skills in the management of programs and staff for older adults.
Sandy Bellefeuil, RN, who is assessor and nurse case manager for Senior Services Home Care and Living-at-Home divisions, won the Direct Service Employee of the Year–Service Excellence Award which recognizes a frontline-service candidate for the quality of direct service provided to older adults in their community.
Kim Dawkins Berry, recently retired as Director of the Piedmont Triad Council of Governments’ Area Agency on Aging, had earlier received the prestigious George L. Maddox Award at the SE4A annual training conference in Asheville.
