Home to Home in Guilford is celebrating its five-year anniversary with a considerable expansion of its operations.
Along with its operations in Greensboro, Pinehurst, and Raleigh, Home to Home is increasingly crossing state lines although this is not especially new. The company has traveled the entire east coast and as far west as Texas since the beginning as calls came in to move to and from every surrounding state.
Being primarily a moving company serving seniors, the demand is great as parents move closer to their children (and grandchildren) and to the cities where their jobs tend to take them.
Home to Home’s specialty is in customer service. Often there may be health issues, a death in the family, or circumstances that require an extremely sensitive approach to the changes a family may be experiencing.
Jos Jansen, owner of Home to Home, says, “Our constant approach to moving is to be a company of excellence which is what makes us better with every move.”
During a period when a family is experiencing overwhelming change, Home to Home specializes in attention to all of the smallest details in a move. This often involves unusual requests for services not directly associated with moving; however, they have found that the more services provided the client, the closer their relationship becomes. As Jos says, “We’ve grown real close to some of the folks we’ve moved over the years.”
