The North Carolina Museum of History will extend the North Carolina & World War I exhibit through May 27, 2019.
North Carolina & World War I is a free, award-winning exhibit commemorating the centennial of U.S. entry into World War I and focuses on North Carolina’s role in the War to End All Wars on the western front in France and Belgium. Visitation to the record-breaking exhibit has soared since its April 2017 opening, cementing its status as the most-visited temporary exhibit ever created by the North Carolina Museum of History.
