Friends Homes has announce the expansion of its continuing care retirement community located in Greensboro, NC. The planned development, expected to be finished in 2021, will offer independent living residents several different floor plans including villa apartments, townhomes, and cottages.
Friends Homes currently has two campuses serving more than 600 residents. The expansion of Friends Home West will include villa apartments, townhomes, and cottages. One-story townhomes are planned for Friends Home Guilford.
Plans also include an expanded wellness center, a new bistro eatery, a pizza oven, and an outdoor dining area.
“Friends Homes has a reputation as a quality provider of senior living and this expansion will enhance our mission of meeting the needs of adults age 62 and over,” said Arnie Thompson, Executive Director of Friends Homes. “With multiple living options, expanded dining, and increased wellness offerings, we are providing for the growing needs of the seniors in the Triad area.”
Friends Homes is managed by The Presbyterian Homes, Inc, a non-profit corporation serving approximately 2,000 seniors in North Carolina.
