More than 50 doctors, social workers and elder law attorneys gathered at the J. Paul Sticht Center on Aging at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital to learn about a program to combat financial abuse of the elderly. The Elder Investment Fraud and Financial Exploitation (EIFFE) Prevention Program trains medical professionals with elderly patients to watch for signs that their patients may be victims of financial exploitation or fraud.
