Twin City Stage will offer a wide array of shows, including re-imagined classics and exciting premieres during its 82nd season of live theatre production.
The season opens with Little Women: The Musical, based on the novel by Louisa May Alcott, September 23-October 2; followed by the world premiere of Shades of Valor, a new drama by award-winning playwright Karen L. Lewis, as part of the AACT NewPlayFest (October 28-30).
Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility, will follow November 11-20, and the third annual production of Macy’s Yes, Virginia: The Musical, December 16-18. The season’s final productions are The Miracle Worker, the inspiring story of Helen Keller and Annie Sullivan February 3-12; Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, a musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber, March 31-April 9, 2017, and the comedy thriller, Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery, June 2-11, 2017.
