Wake Forest University is seeking submissions for DEAC talks (Ted-style talks) and poster submissions from a variety of perspectives for an interdisciplinary symposium on Aging Re-Imagined on the Winston-Salem campus.

The symposium will focus on four themes: Mind, Memory, Mobility and Mortality, that inform how we age and think about aging. Poster abstracts that are accepted may be edited until April 23.

Participants who are accepted will be notified by February 15 and must be available on May 4 to share their talk or poster.

Proposals should be 500 words or less, including the title and the author’s name and affiliations. Authors, who are asked to present broad ideas for a discussion rather than specific data, may have presented the problem related to aging at a previous meeting. Insight to help people age in more sattsfying ways is an important consideration.

Abstracts shourld be emailed with a list of applicable themes to Stephanie Reitz (reitzsct@wfu). Archives from WFU’s 2016 and 2017 symposiums are available.
